APPLICATIONS
The backstop of the SIBRE ART type series is especially designed for the use in belt conveyors with upward hauling and is normally installed on low-speed drive shafts.
It prevents uncontrolled reversal in the case of power blackout or if the drive section is damaged.
SIBRE backstops are normally installed on low-speed drive shafts, thus the reversal of the plant in case of a gearbox burst will be prevented.
Torque up to 1800 kNm can be hold with maximum unit weight of 7000 kg.
