ELDRO® Explosion-proof series
ELDRO® Explosion-proof series EdEx: Reliable Electrohydraulic Thrusters for Hazardous Areas
The ELDRO® Explosion-proof series EdEx is a high-performance electrohydraulic thruster, designed specifically for safe operation in environments where explosive gases, vapours, fumes, or dust may be present. Engineered to comply with the latest international safety standards and regulations, these thrusters provide robust and dependable actuator solutions across critical industrial applications.
Applications and Safety
ELDRO® EdEx thrusters are ideal for use in sectors such as chemical and petrochemical industries, mining, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas production, the food and biofuel industries, and wastewater treatment. Their design ensures reliable operation even under challenging conditions, where the risk of explosive atmospheres is significant. Typical installations include industrial brake thruster systems, heavy duty brake thrusters, and hydraulic thruster actuators in hazardous zones.
